Underfloor Heating Mats

 

Hot Floors Wood Floor Underfloor heating mats are available in a large range of sizes. They can be used directly underneath Laminate or Engineered Board that are installed as a floating floor.

The Wood Floor Heating mats are made of a twin conductor heating cable like the Hot Floors undertile heating mats, but instead of being attached to a mesh, the heating cables are encased between two layers of high strength aluminium sheeting. The Wood Floor Underfloor Heating mats are installed in a similar way to the undertile products as the aluminium can be cut and the direction of the mat changed. PLEASE NOTE the heating cables themselves cannot be cut.

Installation couldn't be easier. You simply install Hot Floors Izo Floor boards that provide an insulated layer and act as the underlay for the floating floor. The underfloor heating mats are then laid out on top (of the Izo Floor boards) and secured with duct tape. Then simply install the floating laminate or engineered boards as normal. These kits can also be used with real wood floors with the only prerequisites being: the floor must be approved by the manufacturer for use with underfloor heating, and; the floor must be installed as a floating floor.
